Our last walk of the year

Shake out your tinsel, dust off your antlers, and head down to the Fulford Arms for the Christmassy greyhound and lurcher walk on Sunday 2nd December at 10.30 am for 11 am start.

We need your help to achieve a festive feel to the last pointy get together before Christmas.

There might well be a Christmassy raffle and some festive fundraising for Greyhound Gap, there will hopefully be mulled wine available in the pub, and Rudolph will be there to make sure there is no bah humbugging (is humbugging a word???!)

See you there!  🙂

November chilliness didn’t put you off.

Great turn out today for the November walk despite the ‘not quite freezing but not very warm either’ weather. Loads of new pointy faces which is great (how are people finding out about us I wonder?) with some people and hounds travelling quite a distance to share their Sunday morning walk with us.

Also a bit of a houndie fashion show today, with loads of the dogs showing off their winter wardrobes.

There were at least 40 dogs, possibly more, quite a sight! It was great to see Maggie and Alex from RSPCA who are looking for homes, having a day out of their kennels and looking very dashing in their lovely warm coats.

Anyone who would like their details adding to the email list but who left before I had chance to catch them, please get in touch.

Hope to see as many people as possible for our December walk at which we will of course expect a festive theme, and where we will no doubt be asking folks to part with a bit of money to raise much needed funds for those hounds not as lucky as ours.

See you soon. 🙂
